Former member of Atlanta rap group D4L and “They Know” hit maker Shawty Lo has a new reality TV show on its way. The series will be produced and directed courtesy of Oxygen Media. Shawty Lo’s outrageous television debut should be hitting the tubes by next spring and was shot in the Bankhead area of Atlanta, Georgia.

Titled  All My Babies’ Mamas, the one hour, uscripted feature television show will cover the life of Shawty Lo. The rapper’s complicated life consists of being the father of 11 children by 10 different women. Cori Abraham, Senior Vice President of Development of Oxygen Media quoted the following about the upcoming reality television show:

“‘All My Babies’ Mamas’ will be filled with outrageous and authentic over-the-top moments that our young, diverse female audience can tweet and gossip about.” (

Shawty Lo also has a new girlfriend who will star in the series. However, here’s the kicker. The new girlfriend is the same age as his oldest daughter and is younger than his oldest son. This should be sure to entertain the authentic “ratchet” women as well as the wannabees. Maybe some of the guys out there will watch it too when their boys aren’t looking. Good grief. 4. Oxygen-make the money. Lord knows that I see this everyday at the courthouse! These so called multi-million dollar black leaders refuse to address the issue and now they get mad because a network is showing a trend that is becoming normal in our community. Yes, there are a few exceptions but until it is exploited and shame associated with it we will continue to have boxers, rappers, unemployed men who have numerous children from many women. I know it’s the women’s fault and its the “white” people who make us drop our panties and drawers right? Wrong—its us and until we make accountability an issue and hold our men to a higher standard before media exploits it—we will continue to make folks money! I’ll be watching!
